Which foods can improve my fertility?
Some foods contribute to improve the chances of a pregnancy due to their beneficial properties for our body. To do this, it is advisable to introduce in the diet:
- Omega 3 (DHA, EPA and DPA), own component of seafood, salmon, sardines, starling, nuts and avocado, among others.
- Iron, present mainly in animal proteins and legumes.
- Calcium and Vitamin D, typical of dairy products, nuts such as almonds and nuts and large leafy green vegetables such as spinach or watercress.
- Folic acid, present in green leafy vegetables, whole grains, legumes, bananas, eggs or cottage cheese.
- Zinc, element that plays an essential role in sperm mobility.
It is important to keep in mind that a balanced and healthy diet is essential for fertility.
