Can too much exercise cause infertility?

share

A Danish study published in  Fertility and Sterility looked at 3,600 women who were trying to get pregnant, grouped them by BMI, and monitored their exercise habits.
The researchers found that in normal weight women, too much strenuous exercise could cause delays in conception.
Moderate physical activity appears to enhance fertility among all groups of women. But in normal weight women too much exercise can cause infertility specially running (distance running), intense cycling and aerobics.
