Stress levels are unlikely to affect whether or not a woman becomes pregnant following IVF treatments.

Researchers from Cardiff University in Wales and from the University of Thessaloniki in Greece reviewed 14 studies that investigated stress levels previous to the treatment in over 3,500 infertile women undergoing  an IVF cycle. They compared the pre-treatment stress levels with the treatment result of pregnancy or not pregnancy. The review, published in the British Medical Journal, did not find association between stress levels and the success of IVF treatment.
