I would describe myself as a vocational doctor. As far as I can remember from my childhood, my dream was not to be a doctor; rather it was to bring children into the world. Firstly I made it come true in the delivery room, where I thoroughly enjoyed myself, and now before conception.
I am one of those who believes that while the end result is essential, it is not the only thing that matters. That is why I have always defined Barcelona IVF as a philosophical programme because, when we started it, we gave up many amenities in trying to fulfil our dream of successfully performing the medicine we like.
I truly believe that assisted reproduction should be like this, a strange combination of idealism whilst keeping our feet on the ground. The speed in which we acquire knowledge is dizzying and this leads to our results improving; however, we must of course always try to ensure that the entire process is worth it, without losing sight of the fact that our end goal is to fulfil the dreams of those that trust us.

The Best Clinic in our experience and we tried some! Straight away Dr Olivares and his team paid good attention to our case, which was very difficult. We felt at ease during the whole journey, the communication and guidance so clear, all uncertainties resolved and questions answered quite immediately with the necessary actions taken too. They work very precisely and close to the patients’ needs. The preparations were very clearly planned out. Really all ran so smoothly, they cater for couples living abroad in relation to time for flights, attendance, all is thought of, so one does not have to go over often and can book well in advance, so practical. In relation to individual needs, this clinic listened very well to their patients and adapted accordingly. We are most grateful and content with our little son! It is magic to be part of a miracle. Ho intrapreso questo percorso ad aprile del 2024. Sinceramente mi sono trovata bene sin dall' inizio. Durante il colloquio il dott. Olivares e' stato molto chiaro sul percorso e su tutti gli esami che avrei dovuto fare. Ammetto che e' stato un percorso lungo, ma sono sempre stati di supporto sia tramite mail che tramite telefono. Purtroppo non e' andata bene al primo tentativo, ed anche lì il dott. Olivares fu chiaro... Così e meno male ho deciso di fare il secondo tentativo fortunatamente andato a buon fine.. durante i primi 3 mesi ho avuto dei problemi ed oltre alla ginecologa che mi seguiva in Italia ho contattato anche la clinica che mi ha risposto e detto che dovevo fare..
