Yes, genetic compatibility tests can detect hereditary genetic diseases. These tests are used to assess a couple’s risk of having a baby with a specific genetic disease. TCG is able to analyze about 550 genes, in which it can detect up to 4,500 mutations linked to more than 600 recessive genetic diseases.
