How are embryos classified?

Currently, embryos are classified by categories based on their morphokinetic quality; According to the association for the Study of Reproductive Biology (ASEBIR) are classified into 4 groups:

  • Category A: The embryo is of excellent quality with a maximum implantation capacity.
  • Category B: The embryo is of good quality with a high implantation capacity.
  • Category C: The embryo is regular with low implantation possibilities.
  • Category D: The embryo is of poor quality and has very few possibilities of implantation.
