Endometrial biopsy
What is endometrial factor?
The inner layer of the uterus, known as the endometrium, is essential for the embryo implantation process and the onset of pregnancy.
During each menstrual cycle, this tissue is renewed and prepared to receive a fertile embryo.
However, in some cases, the endometrium may present alterations that prevent its ability to receive the embryo, which is known as infertility due to an endometrial factor and affects approximately 20% of cases.
