The ability to have children after treating a cancer may vary depending on the type of cancer, age, overall health, and treatment received. Some treatments, such as radiation therapy and chemotherapy, can damage reproductive organs and affect fertility.  Higher doses and longer treatments are the highest risk of reducing fertility.
