Does the DuoStim technique increase the chances of pregnancy?

The main advantage of DuoStim is that it allows a higher number of egg cells to be obtained in a shorter period of time. By performing two stimulations in the same cycle — one in the follicular phase and one in the luteal phase — the chances of accumulating embryos are optimised. 

This is especially relevant in women with low ovarian response or in situations where time is limited, such as before oncologic treatment. 

Although more eggs do not guarantee pregnancy, they do increase the likelihood of having viable embryos for future transfers.
